Another update...before work

Well, today is officially my second day at Hardees...I barely survived the first O_o;;

Yesterday was hectic, too many customers, not enough personnel, and I had no training whatsoever! Joy...

I spent the morning cutting red onions, filling out paperwork (yeah, I was amazed at just how much one has to go through to be a fry cook at Hardees O_o) and sending meat and buns through the Conveyor Belt 'o' Death (it leads into a 550 degree oven, and fully cooks the meat in less than a couple of minutes). The manager (who was a rather nice guy) gave me a hat, manager shirt (because they were out of employee t-shirts) and a apron...I've learned something, though...manager shirts are uncomfortable as shit...no wonder so many managers are assholes...

By the end of my first day, my legs were in agggoooonnnny. I was so exhausted that I trudged up to bed around 7pm and woke up at 6 this morning...now I have another day o work to look forward too...joy O_o;;

hopefully, today won't suck, because I know what I'm doing...

And, to those who are wondering why I left the Hog Pen...they gave me the wordless "you're fired" because they stopped using me completely...

Conveyor belt of death XD I think they cook stuff different at other places. I think at McDonald's they lay a bunch of grease down on a hibachi-style grill, and then throw those wimpy little 'burgers' on there. The grease cooks 'em faster.

Too bad the Hog Pen ditched you, BBQ beats fast food any day :3
